Description The NAR ARS decompression needle, 14G, is designed to provide first aid for tension pneumothorax in the prehospital setting. The needle and catheter are enclosed in a sealed, sturdy plastic tube with a clip. The contents of the tube are sterile and ready for use. Needle length: 8.25 cm. Complies with TCCC committee recommendations. Thanks to its size, it can be used for adult patients with different anthropometric data. Available in sizes: 14 g or 10 g (a larger diameter increases the likelihood of successful decompression and reduces the likelihood of catheter clogging with blood). Package size: 14 cm x 1 cm. Weight: 12 g.
