SAM XT Black tourniquet

Application Place the tourniquet on the injured limb 5-7 cm above the bleeding site. If the wound is not visible, place the tourniquet on the injured limb as high as possible. Tighten the tourniquet as tightly as possible by pulling the edge of the sling. Fix the self-adhesive tape around the limb. The turnstile should be held so tightly that the tips of three fingers cannot get between the sling and the limb. Tighten the rod until the arterial bleeding stops and the peripheral pulse disappears. Secure the tourniquet in the clip. Pass the remainder of the sling through the clip and over the rod. Secure the rod and sling with white tape. Indicate the time of tourniquet application on the white tape. Prepare the patient for transportation.
