Description The Hyfin Vent COMPACT Twin Pack occlusion patch is a 20% smaller version of the standard Hyfin Vent Twin Pack, containing a pair of ventilated occlusion patches used for penetrating chest wounds. Both patches are individually packaged and have a valve — a ventilation hole that prevents air from entering the chest cavity during inhalation and allows air to escape during exhalation. It has an improved adhesive gel composition designed to create occlusion even in extreme conditions where the wounded person may be covered with blood, sweat, hair, and body or dirt. The transparency of the design allows the patch to be placed precisely over the wound. A large, highly visible red tab (Red Tip Technology ®) facilitates subsequent removal and reapplication if necessary. Sticker size: 12 x 12 cm (does not meet the size requirements of the TCCC committee). Packaging size when folded: 16.5 cm x 10 cm x 0.5 cm. Weight: 45 g.
