Description The Holosun AEMS Red is the latest model of a collimator sight designed specifically for assault rifles and carbines. The body, made of black anodized 7075 T6 aluminum, is die-cast. The riflescope has an optimal height for use with magnifiers on AR platforms. The Holosun AEMS Red 211301 solar-powered collimator sight is equipped with Holosun’s Super LED, which provides up to 50,000 hours of operation on a single battery in the “point” mode and up to 20,000 hours in the “circle” mode. Holosun AEMS is equipped with a dual power system: the built-in solar panel maintains the battery charge and acts as a light sensor. In the event of a complete battery discharge, the panel serves as an independent power source. The robust 7075 T6 aluminum housing can withstand loads up to 1000G. The device is IPX8 waterproof and can operate at temperatures from -30°C to 60°C. The built-in, replaceable transparent lens caps protect the lenses from dirt without compromising visibility. In case of contamination, the covers can be simply opened and the riflescope can be used as usual. On solar-powered models, the (+) button adjusts the brightness. By pressing it for 3 seconds, you can switch between two modes: automatic, where the scope operates on solar power in bright light and on battery power in low light, and manual, where the brightness is adjusted by the buttons and the solar battery is turned off. Regardless of the model, the (-) button performs the same function. Technologies SOLAR FAILSAFE is Holosun’s innovative system that allows the device to operate on solar energy only. Even if the battery is completely discharged, the sight remains functional with sufficient light. It does not matter whether the light comes from a natural or artificial source. The solar panel also acts as a light sensor, automatically adjusting the brightness. SHAKE AWAKE is a function developed by Holosun that puts the device into sleep mode if no motion is detected for a specified time. As soon as the scope detects motion, it instantly activates and restores the last brightness setting. This helps save battery power and ensures that the scope is ready to use at any time.
