Description Active headphones 3M Peltor ComTac XPI Olive are full-featured active headphones that provide high-quality hearing protection while amplifying ambient sounds to a comfortable level, such as spoken language. These headphones effectively block or muffle high volume impulse sound waves. They are fully compatible with ballistic helmets, platoon and assault suits. These headphones are recommended for hunters and shooters who want to improve communication and orientation. The only difference from the ComTac™ VI model is the lack of communication between the grants without the use of a radio. This version does not support the connection of a walkie-talkie, as it does not have an audio input and microphone. Main design elements Resilient leatherette headband that is resistant to deformation, allowing the headphones to fold for compact transportation. Low-profile, beveled ear cups for comfortable shooting with a stock. Built-in microphones in the earcups provide 360° sound monitoring regardless of the user’s position. These headphones have a high noise reduction ratio (SNR) of 28 for this class of devices. Built-in microphones amplify ambient sounds to a safe level of 82 dB, which simplifies communication between users and allows for full control over the sound environment. An automatic power-off system that saves energy consumption, which is very useful if you forget to turn them off yourself. Noise protection performance SNR: 28 dB; high frequencies (H): 39 dB (with earplugs); medium frequencies (M): 25 dB; low frequencies (L): 16 dB. Operating temperature is from -40°C to +55°C. The ear cushions are removable and can be replaced as they wear out. It is also possible to install the headphones on a helmet using special holders that are not included in the package.
