The Aurelia X6 Pro V1 was the aircraft that started it all, the first-ever model launched by Aurelia Aerospace. Now, with hundreds of units delivered to customers all across the globe, and extensive feedback from real-world operations we are excited to launch the V2 of the Aurelia X6 Pro.

With thousands of engineering hours and extensive feedback incorporated into it, the Aurelia X6 Pro V2 is hands down the best product we have ever developed. This platform has incredible accuracy, reliability, safety, versatility, and performance. Designed to carry significant payloads with ease of mind the Aurelia X6 Pro V2 features the following improvements over the original X6 Pro.

• Two U.S Made F9P GPS Modules that not only act as a GPS backup if one has a problem, but also can replace the compass. If you are operating in an area with high compass interference, such as around metal infrastructure, the two GPS modules can kick in to take over for the compass and determine the exact heading
• A European-made lightweight parachute system that can shut off the aircraft motors and deploy in an emergency. The system is self-powered, triggers automatically when a fault is detected, and can also be manually triggered. Carry your payloads with peace of mind
• Six obstacle avoidance sensors to ensure that you do not crash into anything while flying
• ADS-B aircraft detect and avoid modules with a 278km range that can pick up both general aviation (978mhz) and commercial aviation (1090mhz). Previously the ADS-B module could only pick up large commercial aircraft

• 70-minute flight time is now standard, compared to 55 minutes previously
• 6kg payload ability vs. 5kg previously
• 50% more payload space under the battery bay is now standard (430mm vs 305mm), while a telescopic mechanism allows the operator to increase clearance to 550mm at the click of a button
• Redesigned arm lock mechanism, and more modular, easy-to-repair frame structure
• The canopy that swings open using a hinge mechanism rather than screws, allowing for quick and easy access to the internal electronics

The Aurelia X6 Pro V2 comes with an open-source Pixhawk flight controller that gives you serious flexibility for professional operations. We include the reliable Cube Orange+ as your standard flight controller, already set up with ArduPilot so you can get flying right away.

The Cube Blue flight controller is available as an upgrade for operators who require its specific capabilities. Most operators stick with ArduPilot since it works great out of the box, but we can install PX4 instead if your project needs it.

This drone is perfect for project development, research work, and integrating open-source connectivity solutions. The open-source design means you can customize it however your operation requires. It’s built for professionals who need reliable performance without being locked into proprietary systems.

The hexacopter design allows the Aurelia X6 Pro V2 to operate with only 5 motors, allowing for increased reliability and protection of your payload in the event a motor gets damaged.

Upon request, for an additional charge, we can offer IP-rated fully enclosed motors (slightly less efficient), designed for operation in dusty and wet environments.

The inclusion of a Garmin Rangefinder LIDAR gives the Aurelia X6 Pro V2 an accuracy of +/- 2.5 cm in the vertical axis up to an altitude of 40 meters.
