Description Plate Carrier DEFua Karakurt Mark 3 Multicam is based on a modular architecture that provides unlimited possibilities for individual customization and maximum field serviceability. When designing this model, we were inspired by the natural elements of honeycomb, spider webs and the structural structure of the spider species of the same name, which can be seen in the silhouette of the playcage. The low-profile cover can be adjusted to fit 3 sizes of SAPI plates at once – M, L, XL. The volume is fixed thanks to flexible elements (“legs”) made of Cordura Squadron laminated fabric. The same elements serve as built-in cable and antenna management. On the front panel there is a Lasercut Molle interface with a Multicam Original Velcro panel, and a waterproof pocket for a map/documents. On both sides of the Molle there are 3 vertical rows of holes for fixing and adjusting the assault panel. There are also additional hexagonal holes for elastic bands, carabiners and clip organizers. The inner side of the case is made of high-density Velcro fabric (over 370 g/m), with hexagonal Lasercut holes for better ventilation and reduced infrared signature of the case. Thanks to this solution, the internal softeners of the “pillow” are removable, which simplifies the washing procedure and adjustment to the appropriate size. The chamberband with built-in pockets for ballistic packages is also adjustable for packages of different sizes and manufacturers (minimum size 12×20 and maximum size 20×42). In order to properly fix the volume, use the Velcro elements on the top and bottom of the pouch. The kit comes with a soft damping element made of isolon, which can be cut to the height of your ballistic package if necessary. For packages shorter than 42 cm, it is also recommended to cut the top layer of Isolon to match the length of the package so that it is fixed in the middle of the damper in a “bucket” fashion. The tile pusher is supplied with a set of quick release buckles ROC 80 and ROC 40, as well as pull buckles, which are fully interchangeable. If necessary, you can remove one or both of the ROC 40 quick release buckles, or even reposition them on the back plate cover. The ROC 80 buckles can be exchanged with a screwdriver or multitool. We use 10/8x6mm Chicago strap screws for maximum product standardization and reinforce the connection area with elements made of heat-resistant Kydex Carbon polymer. Screwed connections (as standard) are lubricated with a specialized thread locker at the production site. All manipulations and “field” replacements can be performed in less than 5 minutes without the need for sewing, etc. You can also disconnect one or both side buckles and connect the front Velcro flap directly to the camelback. Comfortable, anatomically shaped shoulder pads have a built-in Molle interface that allows you to use Woojin Plastic HD NTSR 25 (and similar) fasteners to fix the straps of an assault backpack or Molle panel, etc. The back pouch of the tile carrier also features a one-piece Lasercut Molle interface and a full-size Murdock Webbing escape handle. The Doodlebug is extremely lightweight (720 grams to 1.4 kg depending on the configuration of the camouflage and padding) and extremely flexible in its architecture.
